Join us for a virtual Lunch with a Founder featuring Ana Kraft!
These part educational, part networking events are the perfect way to meet other founders in the region, learn from other people's entrepreneurial journeys, and get plugged in to the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Wisconsin.
This month Ana Kraft, founder of Xena Workwear, will be sharing her founder story.
Working as a project engineer, Ana was frustrated by the lack of personal protective equipment (PPE) designed for professional women in demanding industries. That's why she decided to develop versatile workwear so that women never have to make a choice between function and fashion.
Ana founded Xena Workwear and after exhaustive research, design, prototyping, and development launched her first steel-toe model in May, 2019. The Gravity safety shoe features a feminine design without compromising on any safety or functionality.
Ana also serves as a Committee Board member of ASTM International, advocating for the safety needs of women in STEM and the trades, and is also on the Board of FMFM, a non-profit building stable food and water sources in East / West Africa.
This free, virtual event is open to members and non-members of StartingBlock Madison.
