Established in 1984, University Research Park is an internationally recognized research and technology park that supports early-stage and growth-oriented businesses in a range of sectors, including engineering, computer and life sciences. A University of Wisconsin-Madison affiliate, URP is creating a neighborhood where innovation can flourish. University Research Park manages more than one million square feet ranging from coworking desks to flexible incubator labs and offices to entire buildings. The park also welcomes private sector development driven by companies or real estate developers on ground leases. On a case-by-case basis, URP undertakes build-to-suit projects that align with our mission and strategic goals. Today the park is home to more than 140 companies that employ nearly 4,000 workers in the park and generate more than $1 billion in economic impact for Wisconsin.
