About

Operated as a nonprofit initiative by Madison Northside Planning Council, FEED Kitchens is a shared use commercial kitchen business incubator specializing in supporting food business start ups and their early stage development. A 5,400 sq. ft. facility, FEED has 5 commercial production kitchens which are available to our members 24/7. These kitchens house state of the art production equipment and training is provided on their use. Besides kitchen space for production, FEED helps businesses with licensing, product development, labeling, packaging, finance, marketing, and social media. FEED is an active, supportive, and multicultural workspace and is proud of the strong member-to-member support that occurs here. Businesses operating out of FEED include food carts, caterers, sauce makers, local farms, candy makers, kombucha brewers, spice mixers, meal kit assemblers, and bakers along with other food products. Besides commercial operators, FEED provides space for community groups and non-profits to operate programs as well as social enterprises.
