The Hispanic Collaborative is comprised of Milwaukee community members and representatives of civic organizations, nonprofits, corporations, and government working together to improve outcomes for our Hispanic community. Our initiatives are focused on moving Milwaukee into a Top 10 city on the Hispanic Well Being Index.

As part of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Committee work, the Hispanic Collaborative hosts a monthly Bank Roadshow series featuring entrepreneurial programs and service providers. The goal of the Bank Roadshow is to support Milwaukee’s banking, financial, and front-line entrepreneur support community with in-depth information on the entrepreneurial support ecosystem- to strengthen our community’s existing and budding entrepreneurs.

The Hispanic Collaborative has launched mercadoMKE.com, a new online marketplace for Latino-owned businesses, with the mission of strengthening and expanding Latino-owned businesses by providing an easy on-ramp and adoption to e-commerce. mercadoMKE is a collaborative initiative in partnership with WWBIC, Mexican Fiesta and the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center, and sponsored by Advocate Aurora Health Foundation.
